I've been reading Stephen King's books since I was in high school and was going through a horror phase that ended up not really being a phase, and I've been writing my own stories since I got the hang of writing.
One of the books I've been wanting to get my hands on for a while is Stephen King's book about writing itself, Stephen King: A Memoir of the Craft.
I've always admired the slight-realism in Stephen King's novels, and they way he can make something as far out as a hunted hotel in the mountains or a man with an evil twin seem so relatable. In this book, it delves into the interworking of Stephen King's thought process and even into how he makes such fictitious plots seem so tangible.
This book is a great one for any aspiring writer or anyone who loves the horror genre. I feel by reading this book I have gained a larger knowledge of Stephen King and his history as well as a lot of wisdom on writing, and would recommend this book.
