I recently has the opportunity to go to the Haunted House Restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio while on a business trip.

I hadn't planned on going there, but some of the people I was working with decided to drag me along with them.

The interior was very cool. There were horror movie posters with flashing lights around them. It made me think of all those times I went to see horror movies in theaters during the fall, and made me feel oddly nostalgic.

There was also a lot of great opportunities for photo-ops too, so that was pretty cool because I love being able to take pictures wherever I go.

I ordered "The Pennywise", which was pretty much chicken and waffles at an obscene price. It was aesthetically pleasing, but was not up to par with what I would expect for that price. After a few bites I gave up on eating it because it wasn't the best, and ordered a drink

Despite the food being not so great, the drinks were to die for. They offered a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages featuring dry ice for a smoky, bubbly effect, like that of a potion in a cauldron.

I ordered the twilight, a non-alcoholic version of the potion bowls they offer. It had candy eyes, gummy worms, and all sorts of creepy candies in it. Not only that, but the smoky effect it had made it very cool to post on my snapchat.

As the night got later, a man came in to play his saxophone which was very cool, and got a lot of attention.

Overall, I would rate the place a 5/10 because even though it was really cool, the food ruined it for me.

Would I go again?

Maybe, because the drinks were cool, but the food was not. Not only that, but despite the atmosphere, it was one of those places that I think a lot of people might only go while on vacation to see something cool rather than a place they would go all the time. Also it was outrageously pricey and cost $21 for one non-alcoholic grape soda with some candies and dry ice in it. Realistically, I could've made it at home for a lot cheaper.
